Eric Thompson serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Vantage Bank Texas. With over 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership, he guides the bank’s people strategy to support a strong culture, enable high performance, and position teams for long-term success. Eric partners across the organization to strengthen talent acquisition, employee development, engagement, and total rewards, always with a focus on empowering people to do their best work. Eric joined Vantage Bank in 2019 and is based in Fort Worth, where he supports teams across the organization. He holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications, along with a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Texas A&M–Commerce. Known for steady leadership and a collaborative approach, Eric is committed to helping colleagues grow their careers while advancing the bank’s mission to prepare for what’s possible.
